Wish I had time this week. Can't walk 'em, but they get plenty of exercise playing in our back yard!

I'm not super great about posting pics and I have no idea how to do the video thing, but I can definitely walk Luma for 7 days :) I'm sure she will also be happy to oblige :)

I've always been a very committed dog walker! Good for me.....good for the dogs. Many days it turns out to be my only exercise so that makes it even more important!

Great graphics! And great that people are getting "nudged" to commit to walking their pups every day. We always walk every day here, so it's a year round celebration for us!

No, no, it's not too late! Entry for the giveaway and committing to walk is open until next Tuesday, October 7th. If you ride you bike slowly, R and Shyla are walking so that counts as walking your dog. ;)

I read its the same for people too. something about 'bran plasticity' very much the old 'use it or lose it' sort of thing. A lively dog is an happy dog.

This is something I needed to give me that nudge to get up and get walking with my pup. I need to for my spine and weight and she needs it for energy and weight.

We walk 7 days a week, at least 3 times a day, no matter what, since we're apartment dwellers, so instead, I'm making the commitment to walk to 7 new places with 7 new smells.

A couple years ago, we lived in a house with a big yard and I thought my dogs got a lot of exercise, but the changes to their health and especially to Felix's reactivity since we started walking so much more has totally convinced me that a yard and a good game of fetch is no real substitute for great, daily walks.
