Poet: Bethany

Cascadian Nomads thankful
As well as what makes us blissful
Is the theme of today's poem
Directly from our northwest home.
I love family, fur and feathered
Past and present I have treasured.
Proudly presented now to you
Our Thanksgiving hullabaloo.

Poet: Leo

Gratitude commotion starts with me,
since I'm the best at rhyming, see?
I love my toys and "peek-a-boo"
I'll also tell you "I love you."
Picture
Poet: Brychwyn

Thanks for the snuggles, treats and chews.
Thanks for the training, love and booze.
There is fun whatever time or day
Happiness is the corgi way.
Picture
Poet: Amelia

Stomping on heads before the sunrise
Revealing claws as a surprise
Stalking, batting all things like that
I am thankful I am a cat.
Picture
Poet: Huxley

It's hard to express thanks in rhyme
Collies are grateful all the time.
I am most thankful for my job,
I love caring for this large mob!
Picture
Poet: Wilhelm

Gratitude for comfort all ways
Couch, bed, blanket, lap, floor, pillow, stays
Under covers or how I please
Even in between Jason's knees.
Picture
Poet: Jason

I'm thankful for all our Nomads
And Bethany by myriads
She is Nomad-y-ist of all
And she enjoys a stormy squall.
In Washington we grow great grains
And in the capitol of rain
Thanks that we're warm and dry at night
Life in Cascadia's just right.
And now our poem is fin'ly done
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

But wait! There just might be some more
Tell us what you are thankful for.
(You needn't write a poem, okay,
We're thankful that you read today!)

Hey, thanks for stopping by our blog this morning and reminding me to visit yours. Don't feel bad about not visiting or commenting often. No matter how many blogs I comment on and visit, I always feel like there are some important ones I have missed. I wish I could visit everyone, everyday, but there just isn't the time. When life it not going smoothly it makes it extra hard. Have a great Thanksgiving you guys.

Chester, Gretel and I (Hubby is in Canad learning how to build bike frames) stayed the night in Port Townsend to visit some family here and are heading to Poulsbo today.

Thanks sharing your lovely poems. I don't think we are quite so versed. Because it often sounds rehearsed. I'll just let it go at that. Happy Thanksgiving to your pack!

(sorry...best I can do)
