So pretty - the yellow head feathers (probably not what they are called) are so cool looking.

I don't mind "head feathers" but they are my "crest." And they are pretty cool. Thank you!

I happen to love the big, handsome birdie in the mirror!

Being an Australian I've yearned for a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo for most of my life. Bit late for me to get one now seeing as they live to a great old age! Leo is very handsome and I bet he's a character.

There are a lot of older 'toos (and other psittacines) waiting to be rescued! Often rescue parrots take a bit of rehabilitation but a lot of times the wonderful people at the rescue will have done a lot of the heavy lifting to get a sweet bird ready for a second chance in a new home.

My birds (cockatiel & budgie) love the mirror too. We pop them in front of it when we need a rest from their chitter chatter ;)

Your birds have the mirror all wrong! You're supposed to kiss and scream at that wonderful mirror bird.

Bethany says it depends on your definition of fun. Sometimes I say the same thing over and over and over again for hours: fun for me but apparently not fun for anyone within earshot. I think my voice is lovely!

Oh Wow!! It looks like you have a stalker too, just like me, well not like my stalker cos yours has feathers and mine has fur, but you get my drift!

Hope you're having a fun day :)

Leo is quite handsome, as the mirror shows! I would love to have a bird, but with all my cats it's just not an option. I do enjoy feeding the birds outside my windows, though.

That birdie looks really pleased with himself after looking in the mirror. "Dang, I look good!" Lol! Happy WW :)

I know it's me. That's why I give myself kisses, "tickles" and say "good, good birdie" in the mirror. Sometimes I play "peek-a-boo" with myself! You should try it; it's really fun!

How does Leo feel about his reflection? Mr. N used to bark at his when we first got him but he doesn't anymore.

It depends on my mood. Sometimes I don't want to see myself or play with my reflection so I'll be shy, grumpy or scream. Other times, like in the photos, I admire myself and have a great time. My doggies all barked at their reflections when they were puppies. It was funny but I'm glad they don't anymore.

I love that he says "good, good birdie" to himself in the mirror. That's hysterical. Positive affirmations! Maybe I should try that myself...
