The "It's In The PI" Globe has sat atop this Elliot Avenue building since 1986, moved from the 6th & Wall building it was first placed on in 1948.

The 18.5 feet tall, nearly 19 ton neon world belongs to Seattle's Museum of History & Industry but is still waiting for a permanent home.

It's true! I remember starring at that globe when I was a little kid wondering how it looked so different in the day and night.

It is so beautiful. I can't wait to visit the area when we bring Pierre to our daughter's home. She can't wait either. LOL!
