We recently had another awesome road trip. It was only 10 days and we stayed in our home state of Washington, Cascadia. Most of our adventures were not fish stories. Most. We'll start sharing the true tails tomorrow. Wait. Tales. No. Both. Thanks for hopping by!

BOL! Shorts on a fish?! What's next, a dress on a dog?! (Oh, that's been done? Tehehehe....) Humans are silly! (But you Cascadian dogs are super cool.)

I hadn't even noticed the shorts! I thought the shoes were funny. We're coming to your state at the end of the month!

You can never catch those ones with tennis shoes, though. They're just too quick.

I love the photos, but that second sculpture is a bit disturbing - there's definitely something fishy about it!

Maybe it is depicting the salmon run?

Can't wait to read your tales ... or tails ... I like both!!

Even a slick cat like yourself could probably not catch any fish that large, Brian. But if you did, I'd hope you'd share!

Those are very odd fish. Maybe that's just how they are supposed to look out of the water?

Have a great Wednesday

I bet your right, piggies. Things seem larger to us when we look into the water but for fish things are larger in the air!

I love your group photos of your crew - the size differences just make the so interesting...you must get tons of admiring comments when you are out walking them!

Indeed we do. Sometimes it takes 10 minutes to get a block with all of the people stopping us to pet and ask about the dogs.

Do your dogs ever give you the "Now what do we have to pose in front of?" face. Mine sure do when we've been on the road a bit!

Reply
Bethany

Do they ever! It was actually fun on this trip because they turned their annoyance with me into a game of creative posing that made for some interesting shots. They got really into jumping up on things and lining up differently. They enjoyed me giving them some creative control!

Don't worry, Dolly, it's just a jogging fish and it would run away from a tough dog like you!

I've been looking at these photos for a couple of days and not knowing what to say about them! I love both the statues and would love them in my garden, lol! Your dogs are so well trained, I'm envious ... but too lazy to train Frankie and Beryl!
