I have been told that working collies are getting more and more rare but I am from a small farm where my parents worked as herding dogs so I consider myself a farm collie. However, I now live in a very large city. This weekend I left the city and went to a farm. There wasn't much herding to do but it was very fun. Can you guess what kind of farm I went to? Remember to come back tomorrow to read about and see more pictures of my whole fun, festive holiday weekend including a visit to Santa!

You're right, Sugar! It smelled (and sometimes tasted) like deer poop and was very fun - though I was not allowed to lift my leg on any of the trees!

Oooh, did you get to herd Christmas trees? :)

I'm supposed to herd too, but there's never anything to herd, so I just herd humans, it's fun! :)

I hope you're having a fun day,

Your pal Snoopy :)

I didn't know there weren't many working collies left, that's very sad :( By the way, was it a Christmas tree farm you visited?

I have a great rescue Collie pal who is a city dog. She likes to herd buses, the riding lawnmower in the park, and anything else on wheels! Love Dolly
