Cascadian Nomads present the first in a series of three Wordless Wednesday posts to celebrate the season, sharing Christmas past, present and future. Today, for Christmas Past, we give you photos from Christmas 2012, which was Huxley's first Christmas with us and Gryphon's last. We hope you enjoy Christmas Past and return in the coming weeks for Christmas Present and future too. Happy Holidays!

Does Brychwyn sleep with his eyes open or is he just waiting for you to get done with the shot so he can sleep? Chester sleeps with his eyes open sometimes.

I have had dogs that sleep with their eyes open but none of these three boys do. Brychwyn was just in a magic of Christmas daze/guarding his new toy.

Wonderful photos. Thanks for sharing them all. Napping in the chew basket...must have been pretty tired!

I'm glad you enjoy the photos. Thank you. The photos of the new Christmas toy playing and chewing that lead to that basket nap would be another whole blog post!

Great sharing old photos - I've been digging into my archive too. Love the photo of Huxley passed out with his head in the bowl!

A great idea to do past, present and future Christmas pictures. I love the past. I laughed at Huxley sleeping in the chew basket.

Love the photo of Gryphon and Amelia unwrapping presents! All of our furbabies get to do the same on Christmas morning. :)

Love all the pics, but especially the head-in-the-basket shot. (Um, you might want to know i mentioned your pups on my blog today... It might have been related to stealing them... But you can rest assured that will never happen - because what kind of idiot commits a crime that they've written about on their blog?! I can be an idiot sometimes, but not *that kind* of idiot...)

This is a great idea! I remember Nola's first Christmas with us so clearly; she was only 11 weeks old!

That doesn't look like the most comfortable position for Huxley. Reminds me of the time Mr. N slept on top of the laptop. Wilhelm and the flower is just precious.
