Cascadian Nomads Canines Are Getting Festive For The Holidays With TailTrends.com

Earlier this week, 'R' Blood On The Tracks Boys received a package from TailTrends.com containing a holiday themed Original Collar Cozy for each of them. While I was super impressed with how much more adorable the products looked in person than they had on the website, Wilhelm, Brychwyn and Huxley were unimpressed that the package contained no treats. The appliques on The Original Collar Cozy are handmade by Laura, TailTrends.com's product designer. The collar covers and bows are well made and seem tough but I was concerned how the hand stitched and hand beaded felt appliques would hold up on our furry, rough and tumble dogs. (Yes, the appliques are beaded- Santa's eyes and nose and even the snowman's buttons are beads! Obviously this means these Original Collar Cozy's would not be safe for the dogs to play in but I wouldn't want these lovely products to get that messed up anyways.) There's no better way to find out if our Original Collar Cozy's will last than to just try them out. I slid the cozies on the dogs regular collars- which was way easier and faster than switching all of their tags to new collars- and we headed out for our first walk in search of holiday displays of the season.

One thing Jason and I were both struck by right away was that Wilhelm actually seemed to like wearing the Original Collar Cozy. And Wilhelm doesn't like to wear anything. Especially coats. Even if his life depends on it. Jason observed that maybe we just need to get him a collection of fashionable scarves to keep him warm and dry. As we walked, I really appreciated that the size of the bows were not overwhelming large on the short legged dogs but the bow was not too small to see on Huxley. TailTrends.com Original Collar Cozy is the perfect holiday accessory for us- made as a labor of love by a small company, quick and easy to put on, beautiful and detailed while tough and durable. The Original Collar Cozy's did indeed survive our long walk and I look forward to the dogs wearing them a lot more. Despite the cold, our first holiday display walk of the year really put me in the mood for this festive season. I am so glad it has begun!

Oh, those are so cute! I've been having a hard time finding some festive collars for Morgan and Kus. I'll have to stop in there and have a look!

I love these! And wouldn't my hubby be thrilled...he's the one that always has to move the tags over to the Christmas collars. :) Need to go look at them now, before the sale ends!
