I have established that my dogs and cats (and birds too) have always eaten better than I do. Jason and I sometimes do the math and realize that we spend more on pet food per day than we do on ourselves. But, of course, it's worth it. Feeding ourselves cage free meats, sustainable fish and natural ingredients costs more than

Weruva has four lines of cat food and two lines of dog food so feeding luxury pet food can fit any budget,
eating processed, factory farmed foods. Naturally, we expect it to cost more to feed our pets the same cuts of meat we eat and food with simple ingredients we can understand. But when Weruva Cans was one of the only foods Gryphon would eat as he aged, I couldn't always afford the daily cost of appeasing my picky eater. I also had some large vet bills that often come with caring for a senior pet. Fortunately, Weruva B.F.F and Cats In The Kitchen lines are more affordable Weruva foods also designed with the obligate carnivore in mind. Plus, all of Weruva cat foods are 80% water. Cats naturally hydrate through food not water bowls so moisture content of cat food is very important. So instead of worrying about my budget, I am grateful that Gryphon passed on his love of all the lines of high quality Weruva foods to Amelia.

By far our favorite, simple Weruva product is their treats. I love any treats that Wilhelm, Brychwyn, Huxley and Amelia all beg for. It's not easy to find treats appropriate for both dogs and cats and I certainly have never found a treat that all four pets come running for with such a basic ingredient list. I think one ingredient will be hard to beat so I look no further than Weruva for the perfect dog and cat snack.

The more simple foods and healthy cuts of meat fed to pets, at prices that don't break the bank, the more fit and trim pets will be. Simple, natural foods, for humans or for pets, are something everyone can agree is important and if fitting it into the budget is easier, it just can't get much better.

If you don't count restaurant bills, I'd bet the dogs' food bill is bigger than mine, or very close to the same.

Good thing there are very few restaurants with menus for dogs or we'd all be broke!

I have two cats, which most people don't know. I frequently feed them BFF, which they love. I once heard a rumor that Soulistic, sold at Petco, is also made by Weruva.

I have tried multiple times to switch my cats to a full raw diet, but they ain't having it. Between their kibble, canned, raw, and the dogs' raw, I probably spend nearly as much on their groceries as I do on the two humans in the house.
