Even the Cascadian Nomads shadows and reflections are busy preparing for our big cross-country drive. Please forgive us if we are not around as much as we'd like but do join us on the journey starting next weekend. Have a wonderful Sunday! |

Thank you. We are driving from Seattle to Buffalo and back again. Oh dear, it wears me out just typing that!

I love watching the reaction when a dog sees his reflection...have to wonder how they process it

It must be weird to see but not smell or hear "another" dog!

Thanks, Sugar. We'll send you an e-mail from New York to give you an ETA for our Chicago area visit. Maybe we can meet-up.

Thank you. My lovely, fluffy fur confuses many, but I am a boy. I can't speak for that mirror dog, though.

Thanks, Finn. I like to stare at the mirrors at home but when I am surprised by a mirror dog out in the world I bark and bark!

Sweet! We had a dog once who used to scare herself to death in the mirror! :)

Brychwyn and I both know the mirror dogs at home are adorable but we bark at mirror dogs any where else. Huxley hasn't yet figured out that the mirror dogs can't play with him!

It's like he's saying to that mirror dog, "You stay there and I'll stay here and no one gets hurt." Very cute. Safe travels!
