Last weekend was full of fun dog-friendly holiday events here in Seattle. By Sunday evening, Brychwyn and I were tired but Wilhelm still had some energy to chew. (It must be those short legs of his, but he always has more energy!) On Sunday afternoon, we walked to a near-by business district and did some shopping with Bethany and Mr. N's mom from Tenacious Little Terrier. It is amazing that Wilhelm, Brychwyn and I had the energy to do more cold weather walking because we had already had such an exciting weekend. Sunday morning, we had taken a ferry ride to an island Christmas tree farm. We got to run around then we picked out a lovely Christmas tree.

On Sunday afternoon, we walked to a near-by business district and did some shopping with Bethany and Mr. Soon we will put lights and decorations on our Christmas tree. It will probably look a little bit like the big tree we saw light up on Saturday night. I wonder if our tree lighting will also have music and lots of people to pet me? Well, the neighborhood tree lighting was full of collie loving adults and children. Brychwyn and I tried to get some of them to share their cider and cookies but the Bethany and Jason said we couldn't have any. The tree lighting was still as fun event for dogs. We especially liked the walk to the tree lighting from the beach. Before we walked to the tree lighting, we had walked to one of our neighborhood beach parks. It's a park we walk to a lot but on Saturday evening there was an unusual crowd of people. There were also a lot of dogs. I wanted to play but we went to a part of the park where there weren't as many dogs because Bethany said I had to settle down. I think I am glad we did because when the boat started singing (yeah. It happened.) Bethany, Jason and some of my friends started to sing too. When I hear singing, I want to dance! So I danced with Bethany and some of my friends. Some dog play with Wilhelm and Brychwyn (on our leashes, of course) happened too. What a fun Christmas Ship celebration! And the whole weekend's celebration began with a visit to Santa. I was a little confused when we got up very early and rushed out of the house before breakfast on Saturday morning. Plus, Leo came with us (which he doesn't always do) and also Amelia (which mostly only happens if we are going to the vet.) It's okay though because we did not go to the vet, a whole bunch of people petted me (including Santa) and Santa's helpers gave me lots of treats. Can you believe how much holiday fun we had in just one weekend? I wonder what's next... What kind of dog-friendly holiday events have you attended so far this season? Do you have any fun holiday outings planned that pets can attend?
