The Incredible Shrinking Cascadian Nomads

There was mischief of miniature proportions in Cascadia this weekend. The Cascadian Nomads canines, psittacine and feline met their crocheted mini matches. The dogs and cat were at first very interested in sniffing their shrunken likenesses but the cockatoo didn't seem to want much to do with his tiny resemblance. I think that Lynne of Sketching With Dogs (who is now taking a break from making crocheted mini pets) did an excellent job of capturing the unique personalities of Huxley, Wilhelm, Brychwyn, Amelia and Leo in yarn.

Cascadian Nomads miniature long haired dachshund, Wilhelm, with his crocheted mini
Cascadian Nomads cardigan welsh corgi, Brychwyn, with his crocheted mini
Cascadian Nomads Abyssinian Tabby Cat, Amelia, with her crocheted mini
Cascadian Nomads Triton Cockatoo, Leo, with his crocheted mini
The dogs definitely wanted their new tiny friends to be toys but I managed to save the replicas from enduring too much slobber. My plan when commissioning the Cascadian Nomads crocheted mini-me's was to have twice the pet adventuring fun. Yet now that the pets have met their miniature replicas, I think there may also be two times the mischief as well. What do you think?

They are brilliant and as always Lynne has captured the likenesses brilliantly. Double trouble sounds good to us. Have a marvellous Monday.
Best wishes Molly

They are utterly adorable. I think the one of Leo is my favorite. It looks just like him!

The mini-Leo is perfect. I was afraid Lynne wouldn't want to make a mini of him down but she rocked it!
