It looks like a nice day; let's go out!

This isn't exactly what I had in mind.

Millions of years of evolution and I am traveling like this?

Hooray, wing stretching in the warm breeze. Now this is this kind of sunny day mischief I expected.

Here in Cascadia, there aren't very many days warm enough for a tropical bird like me to enjoy the sunshine outdoors. Thanks for checking out my first little adventure of the spring and thanks to Alfie's Blog, Snoopy's Dog Blog and My Brown Newfies for hosting this mischievous blog hop.

I got a little worried when I saw you in the backseat there! Really glad you got out to stretch your wings!

I do like car rides but when the sun is shining and the warm breeze is blowing I want to feel it on my feathers!

Thanks for stopping by, Molly. I am glad we found each other. I'm sure there will be more doggy posts coming. Those doggies think they rule the roost! Ha! It's a roost! Dogs can't roost.

That's quite a nice carrier you have, Leo. I know getting out was a treat...enjoy that sun!

Thanks! I call it my Popemobile. I don't think it is bullet proof but sometimes when I am having a fun scream inside of it, I understand that may be tested.

Wow! You are the first parrot with a blog we have met! Nice to meet you!

It's nice to meet you! Parrots and dogs aren't always friends but I love doggies! In fact, I often call human friends and neighbors "big doggy" in hopes that my words will come true.

Aw, thanks, Nola, but I bet you are just saying that so I will throw you some food. My doggies use that line on me all the time! And, I'll admit, it works. I throw them a lot of food. There's enough for you too!

It was short but it sure is nice when spring comes and I can finally get outside!

That's a fancy carrying case you have there! Glad you got to enjoy stretching your wings in the sunshine. Happy Monday Mischief!

Thank you. This is my first Monday Mischief but I am a but confused. Why is it only on Mondays? I'm mischievous everyday!

Awww a bird blog, I like it :)

I like the case you are in, looks better than the bird case I often see in my country. I am glad you get to stretch your wing in the end :)

Thank you. I do wish I could move around a bit more in the Popemobile but I know it is for safety.

There might be room for Sweet Pea in there too... but I will not share my kale!

Looks like fun Leo! Have you ever tried on one of those flight suit things?

When I was a fledgling, there were a lot of bad reviews of flight suits. Birds got hurt in them, had lot's of itchy feather picking, etc. The lady who weened me and my avian vet advised against them. Maybe flight suits have improved since then?
