No matter what your favorite dog breed or breeds may be, it is always a joy to celebrate family, be it with relatives by blood or kin by choice. Please visit this post for more photos and stories about attending Huxley's collie family reunion last weekend. Plus, we want to share with you a website we were recently introduced to, The Magic Zoo. I'm in the Romany Collie FB Group and saw some of the pictures from the event and thought how much fun that would be to have so many Collies in one place. And you were there!! SO COOL!!!!!! Can't wait to hear/see more about it. It looked like a really fun event.

How fun to have a family reunion! I will never have one since most of my family is in England and at least one sibling is in Sweden. Maybe Bailie could have one, but with 14 siblings altogether, it would be a big one!

Huxley is from a litter of nine but only one of his litter mates came. There were a lot of his brother's and sisters from other litters as well as half brothers and sisters. It was a BIG day!

Oh boy would my two love running in that field! We don't get things quite that nice here in urban Sunnyvale (this morning we took them to an abandoned tech office park where they could run around in the parking lot... better than nothing I guess!)

We drove four hours to camp near this field, an hour and a half to get to it from camp and four hours to get home (through awful traffic) so I know that urban stuck feeling... but we were lucky to go!

Did Huxley seem to recognize his mom?

Huxley has hung out with his mom a few other times since leaving her farm. I am not sure if he recognizes her as mom or just a lovely collie he has hung out with!
