Awesome #MultiPetMania Moments Made Possible By The Umbilical Belt Hands Free Dog Leash

Anyone who has ever read this blog before (and it is okay if you haven't- welcome!) or has met me while out on a pet adventure knows that I am a huge fan of hands free dog walking. In fact, I would go so far as to call myself a hands free dog leash addict. I never, ever go anywhere without my Umbilical Belt Hands Free Dog Leash. Ever. When I set out to find the best hands free dog leash, I put on The Umbilical Belt and never looked back. And after almost two years of wearing my first Umbilical Belt at least once a day, every day, it was time for a new one. Just like any well used and loved product, even the best made, highest quality hands free dog leash on the market is susceptible to wearing out. My 3" wide Umbilical Belt had never been uncomfortable but I opted for a new 2" wide belt. After a short adjustment period to get used to the thinner belt I love it. I expected to. All of The Umbilical Belt products are the same comfortable, strong, plastic free, high quality dog leashes and hands free belts I fell in love with over two years ago. The Umbilical Belt is made by a dog fitness enthusiasts for dog fitness enthusiasts. What's not to love? This is why I can't imagine a dog friendly hike, walk, snowshoe or other adventure without The Umbilical Belt.
I've got to be hands free with The Umbilcal Belt Hands Free Dog Leash
The Umbilical Belt Hands Free Belt and The Umbilical Belt Reflective Dog Leash.
Besides comfort and convenience, why be hands free? Wait. Seriously? Okay, I'll lay it out:
  • Back support: My lumbar vertebrae were all fractured by a fall in 2011. Nothing I have put around my waist since then has been as comfortable as The Umbilical Belt. I wish it could hold up my pants!
  • Style: Any leash can be attached to The Umbilical Belt. I regularly attach my bungee leashes to my belt, The Umbilical Belt Reflective Leash for night walks and I attach my favorite collar matching leashes or holiday leashes for special occasions.
  • Hands Free: Oh the things free hands can do! Not holding a leash takes getting used to for both the dog and the dog walker but once hands free harmony is acquired the dog walker can hold a drink, push a stroller, swing their arms, click a clicker, clean up poop, carry a cockatoo... that last one may just be me.
The Umbilical Belt Hands Hands Free Dog Leash 2
The Umbilical Belt Dog Leash 2", M, includes a Reflective Leash.
If preparing to carry a cockatoo on dog walks or just a cup of coffee, The Umbilical Belt hands free leash will not disappoint. Not only would it be impossible for me to walk multiple pets without a hands free waist belt for dog leashes, I would not enjoy our walks or any of our pet friendly adventures nearly as much. After almost a decade of struggling to find a hands free leash belt that would allow me more dog time and less fussing with the belt and leash time, I couldn't be happier to have found The Umbilical Belt. I am proud to be using my second Umbilical Belt and to be able to share how well it works with everyone I see every time I step out the door.
These awesome multiple dog moments made possible by Umbilical Belt (bungee leashes not Included):

Matching Collars For Multiple Pets: Three dogs and a cat in K9 Bytes collars
Three sizes of dog collars and a cat collare from K9 Bytes
Typist: Bethany
After an advanced obedience class years ago, another student and I were discussing nervousness for our first ring competition that weekend. When I explained that one difficulty for me was going to be that the dogs cannot have tags attached to their collars, my classmate was shocked that I only had one collar for each dog. My belief that I wasn't a collar collector because I have boy dogs was fallible since the classmate I was talking to was also competing with a male. So I had to confess, I truly wish I had a few cute collars for my dogs. An even deeper secret wish has been to have the dogs and cat wear matching collars. But my next confession is that I am incredibly picky about collar style and quality. In the end, it wasn't fluffy boy dogs keeping me from having cute sets of collars for my dogs but just that I hadn't found the right collars. Fortunately, I discovered K9 Bytes and my (albeit silly) dream of Wilhelm, Brychwyn, Huxley and Amelia wearing matching collars has finally come true. Best of all, K9 Bytes collars are stylish, sturdy and made right here in Cascadia.

Learning about K9 Bytes meant more to my multiple pet lifestyle than fulfilling a wacky dream of the dogs and cat in matching collars. Believe it or not, living with all these pets isn't just about me. Among other items for pets and pet lovers, K9 Bytes also carries dog and cat toys. Sharing my joy in shopping for affordable dog and cat toys on one convenient website is the last part of this review that is about me. The real reviewers were so excited about the K9 Bytes box I could barely get a clear photo. Playtime included tugging, fetching, squeaking and a human enjoying the brightly colored toys on a gray Seattle day. Clearly the dogs approved of their new dog toys. When Amelia tried out her K9 Bytes catnip toys, all the rolling, drooling and batting made it obvious she was pleased with her cat toy three pack. Even Leo found something in the box that a cockatoo could enjoy. K9 Bytes truly knows how to please multiple pets and their people.

Road Trippers Rejoice: PURGGO Car Air Eco-Purifier Review Plus Giveaway

Road Trippers Rejoice: PURGGO Car Air Eco-Purifier Natural Air Freshener Review Plus Giveaway, a miniature dachshund gets a drink in the car next to PURRGOHow could a car with water, food, camping gear and dogs smell bad?
Typist: Bethany
Perhaps one of the reasons I feel so connected to dogs is that I have a very keen sense of smell. Granted, it is not canine sensitive but when I travel the way a place smells is huge part of what makes up my trip memories. The natural beauty of a journey or a destination comes to me best through open windows but my attempts to take in a trip with all of my senses can be spoiled by the smells from within the car. Road trips make for all kinds of bad interior smells, be it the dogs, weeks of dirty travel gear or the car itself (I hate new car off-gassing or the smell of the perfume of person who rented the car before.) My solution has always been to bring along one the baskets of charcoal I use as natural air freshener in the house. It's not a large basket but every inch of packing space counts on a long camping road trip with three dogs and a parrot. So, of course, I was thrilled when I was contacted by one of the creators of the PURGGO Car Air Eco-Purifier. Since I road trip with my basket of charcoal, I already know that a charcoal air freshener can neutralize car smells but PURGGO is designed to do it while being aesthetically pleasing and out of the way. Enamored with the car air freshner idea of PURGGO and that the company is based locally, I still did my best to put PURGGO to the test. The results were nothing more than fresh. And not "fresh" like the dangerous chemical cocktail of a toxic air freshener but an actual clean, neutral smell.

To test the power of PURGGO, Jason and I twice left the dog's car beds, stinky from road trips that included off-leash parks and swimming, in the back of the car. The first time Jason sniffed the car after it sat unopened all week in the sun he exclaimed "oh wow, that stuff [PURGGO] really works!" When I climbed into the car during a downpour and was unable to roll the windows down without flooding the car, I didn't mind because the car didn't smell like dog or have a scent of stale, wet car. PURGGO had truly been neutralizing the air as the car sat waiting for the next Cascadian Nomads road trip to begin. Taking only seconds to install, from the easy tear package to the sliding hanger strings, PURGGO will be the first thing I put into my next rental car. No matter what car I am in, every road trip from now on is going to be full of all of the natural smells I want to enjoy on the journey and not nothing but whiffs of dusty camping gear or whoever rented the car before me.
PURGGO Car Air Eco-Purifier Natural Air Freshener works in even when pet friendly road trip dogs, corgi Brychwyn, dachshund Wilhelm and Huxley, aren't in the car
Even though I am a windows down road tripper who honestly doesn't mind dog smell, PURGGO is a product I am just thrilled to have found. A road tripper like me who has the windows down even in the rain ends up with a musty smelling car. Especially since the car just sits between road trips. Then there are those cold nights when I camp in the car or van and having even a cracked window isn't an option because I have three dogs and a cockatoo that have to stay warm. An air neutralizer like PURGGO is going to help all of us nomads breathe easier. Since my new PURGGO will keep on freshening for an entire year, it is going to go a lot of places. Places I am now even more excited to take in, one deep, fresh breath at a time.
