This 1924 Model T belongs to Jason's Grandfather and the flag flies high in the World War II, nonagenarian's yard. On Father's Day, Jason's Grandfather taught Model T driving lessons to his son, grandsons, granddaughter and great-grand son.

It was Grandpa who enjoyed the day most of all (and that is what matters most of all too!) He has worked VERY hard on that lovely car and is very proud of it. Thank you for noticing!

Thanks Ellen. I am more of an early 50's car fanatic but Grandpa's fondness for that Model-T has definitely given me a greater appreciation for every vehicle in the evolution of the automobile.

I never miss an opportunity to stroll a car show but being so up close and personal with all the work that goes into the classics is new to me. It's a pretty great hobby. Your dad sounds awesome!

Last weekend, I told my great uncle about my Model T drive. He used to be a tow truck driver and he laughed "I can't count how many Model T's I junked. If only I knew!" Junkyards are a treasure trove of fun photo opportunities but it would have to be a pretty tidy junkyard to be safe for dog paws!

Lovely photos!! I love old cars that are well taken care of! There's an antique car show in Greenville a few times a year and I get such a kick out of seeing them on the road!
