Typist: Wilhelm This weekend was all about me! I got to go to a BBQ birthday party at the Alaskan-Klee-Kai's house without my corgi and my collie. That's right! Just me and Bethany. I got petted a lot, which I liked. And carried around some, which I did not like. Those Alaskan-Klee-Kai's sure know how to get into mischief and I always love a good birthday party. The Klee-Kai's and I played chase and practiced many different begging for food techniques. I did end up missing Brychwyn and Huxley because those Klee-Kai's don't like to play bitey-face. I don't get it. Maybe it's a girl thing. Sometimes when I visit the Klee-Kai's house I do some tugging with them or with Michael, but this time the yard was full of human games for the party. Bethany said I was very good because I did not bark at the flying football and shuttlecocks. However, she didn't know I was quiet most of the time because my mouth was full of scavenged picnic food! It was a lovely party. |
The car show was over and it started to rain so we had to hurry home. As much as I love to be out and about, I don't like to be out and about when I am wet. It is my understanding I am going to have to get used to it again, though, since summer is almost over. This particular rain shower didn't last long and, believe it or not, I had the energy and was not too wet for a bit more mischief. First, I played chase, bitey face and tug with my corgi and my collie. Then, I cuddled on the couch with Bethany and Jason. What a great weekend! All of us Cascadian Nomads hope you are ready for fall! How did you spend your last weekend of the summer? |
