Typist: Wilhelm Why are dogs human's best friends? We are adorable, loving and loyal. We know. But there must be another reason that humans have chosen canines to be their best friends. In my (very educated) canine opinion, it's because of our brains. Dogs are smart. Yet we're not too smart. We know humans wouldn't want a best friend that was constantly outwitting them. But even if we sometimes do, don't worry, because we know how to lift your spirits. We're your best friend after all. The best way to respect your closest pals cerebral capabilities is to mentally stimulate us every day. And the easiest way to do this is with training. Daily training doesn't have to mean just practicing "sit" and "down" over and over again. You wouldn't want to read the same book every day of your life would you? Well, we dogs don't always want to do the same behavior all the time. We want to learn and try new things just like all |
Best friends should definitely hang out on the couch together. Best friends should go on fun adventures side by side. Best friends should constantly make each other smile/wag their tails. But best friends should also spend quality time stimulating each others brains. Training gets human brains working in finding ways to keep training upbeat and fun. During training, dogs get to think, learn and, best of all, bond more with our best friend- you.
How do you respect your best friends brain?
